Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation seeks an experienced Senior Test Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate the CM test infrastructure for high-volume manufacturing. You will build and maintain a scalable, reliable infrastructure including compute, storage, tester provisioning, and automation, while aligning with IT security and enterprise standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on Linux, automation, and collaboration with CM site operations and IT to ensure robust test environments and rapid incident

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 8+ years of infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or related work experience.
• Hands-on Linux administration and issue resolution.
• Experience with servers, storage, networking, remote-management controllers, and lab environments.
• Experience with automation and configuration management (Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD).
• Experience with logging, monitoring, alerts, incident response, and RCA.
• Ability to work independently across distributed teams and CM partners.

We are looking to hire a Test Infrastructure Engineer to join NVIDIA’s Test Solutions Group and build the infrastructure foundation for manufacturing system of board and system products at Contract Manufacturer sites. In this role, you will apply systems, hardware, software, and automation expertise to ensure test environments are reliable, scalable, secure, and ready to support high-volume manufacturing. You will own the engineering of test-dedicated infrastructure—including tester provisioning and configuration, test compute and storage, automation, logging, monitoring, DHCP requirements, and incident recovery—while partnering with CM site operations and IT teams on shared dependencies. **What You'll Be Doing:*** Build and operate the initial CM test infrastructure service stack: test compute, storage, tester provisioning, configuration, automation scripts, DHCP, log collection, diagnostic logs, and test-related file transfer.* Establish standards for tester images, configuration baselines, inventory, naming, access, patching, and lifecycle management.* Automate tester provisioning, configuration, recovery, health checks, and log collection using infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools.* Develop service runbooks, monitoring dashboards, alerts, incident procedures, and paths for handling blocking issues for each supported service.* Partner with CM site operations on physical deployment, break/fix, remote access, rack-and-stack, power, and equipment replacement.* Work with IT teams to ensure test infrastructure follows enterprise identity/access, network, security, DNS, patching, backup, and hardware standards.* Identify capacity, reliability, security, and operational risks; drive corrective actions before they affect test throughput. **What We Need To See:*** 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, test engineering, lab operations, or technical operations.* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.* Strong hands-on Linux administration and ability to solve issues.* Experience with servers, storage, networking fundamentals, remote-management controllers, and hardware/lab environments.* Experience with automation and configuration management, such as Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD, or equivalent.* Experience with logging, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and root-cause analysis.* Ability to work independently across distributed teams, CM partners, and IT organizations.* Clear written communication and strong operational rigor. **Ways to Stand Out From Crowd:*** Experience supporting hardware validation, factory/CM operations, data centers, or large-scale test labs.* Experience with GPU/server platforms, DHCP/DNS, PXE boot, golden images, KVM/console systems, and asset management.* Familiarity with storage systems, high-speed networking, observability platforms, and security tooling.* Experience building a new operational capability or taking ambiguous infrastructure ownership from multiple teams With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
