Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience (or 5+ years with an advanced degree).
• Experience developing and integrating software using C++, C#, Java, Python or Visual Basic.
• Hands-on experience with IDEs, debugging tools, and software troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience developing software within Windows OS and Microsoft Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate OO software applications using C#, C++, Visual Studio, and Windows.
• Develop software, libraries, and instrument drivers for automated test equipment and production systems.
• Oversee the software lifecycle from requirements to sustainment.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware interfaces, and test equipment instrumentation.
• Develop and refine software requirements for reliable system performance.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, systems, and test engineers to integrate software with hardware.
• Support labs and manufacturing by diagnosing issues and implementing solutions.
• Manage multiple priorities while ensuring quality, performance, and delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Contribute to software architecture, design reviews, and best practices.
