Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a Test Engineer to provide Test and Evaluation support for the TAAS program at Hanscom AFB. This full-time role requires 5+ years in test engineering, a related bachelor’s degree, and U.S. citizenship with a Top Secret clearance.

Projected compensation ranges from $127,700 to $140,200, with benefits including health and dental insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. On-site work at Hanscom AFB is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test engineering and support.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and implementing all testing activities for IT and data center functions.
• Experience developing test plans and test cases.
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes as applied to software and mission systems.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization.
• Willing to provide hands-on testing support when necessary.
• U.S. citizen with an active Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Document the review, test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end-user operational testing.
• Identify, propose, and implement opportunities to expedite testing.
• Apply Design of Experiments methods to plan and conduct test programs.
• Prepare test evaluation reports, analyses, specifications, and test plans.
• Analyze problems and evaluate data, performance, and compliance.
• Review results and draw conclusions from test engineering tasks.
• Devise innovative approaches to problems and complete tasks efficiently.
• Evaluate test environments for software releases and ensure readiness.
