Job summary

Software Placement Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to develop and coordinate functional test platforms for a new program. You will work with customers and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure on-time startup.

Overview

An established manufacturer has been awarded a new program and is expanding its engineering team to support the growth. The company is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to develop and coordinate functional test platforms, support new program startups, and work closely with customers and cross-functional teams on technical issues. Due to ITAR requirements, candidates must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

What you'll do

• Develop functional test software platforms from specifications
• Coordinate test platforms built by either in-house or outside vendors
• Assist in setting up test areas for on-time startup of new programs
• Meet with customers and all levels of management on technical issues
• Write reports, test procedures, proposal inputs, and technical papers

Required qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

Preferred qualifications

• LabVIEW experience preferred, or TestStand experience
