Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Test Engineer for a high-impact program in the Intelligence Sectors, Cyber and Analytics Business Area. You will own the testing strategy and work with software and DevOps to deliver reliable, mission-critical systems that manage complex data pipelines.

The role requires 8+ years in testing, a technical degree, and hands-on automation with Python, Java, and Bash. Experience with JUnit/Mockito and Linux/AWS is essential, along with TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Test Engineer on programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or 4 extra years of experience in lieu).
• Experience with automated testing and scripting (Python, Java, Bash).
• Hands-on testing with JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience testing in Linux environments and familiarity with AWS.
• Understanding of data ingest processes and data lifecycle management.
• Clearance requirement: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Own the testing strategy as the lead Test Engineer on a mission-critical program.
• Partner with software and DevOps engineers to deliver resilient systems.
• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests across multiple scopes.
• Develop and maintain test documentation including plans and reports.
• Validate data ingest pipelines and lifecycle management alignment.
• Identify, document, and track defects to resolution.
• Contribute to automated testing using JUnit and Mockito.
