Job summary

HeartFlow is seeking a Senior Test Engineer toOwn end-to-end automation across UI, API and backend services within a regulated SaMD context. You will craft scalable test suites, guide offshore testers, and ensure traceability through QA and RA collaboration.

The role emphasizes AI‑driven testing, CI/CD integration, and rigorous regulatory documentation to support HeartFlow’s 3D Web Viewer and ML pipelines.

Qualifications

• Direct experience testing Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) or other regulated medical device software.
• Working knowledge of medical device QMS practices and applicable standards (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, 21 CFR Part 820).
• Strong proficiency with Selenium/WebDriver and Playwright, including framework design and stability techniques.
• Experience designing and maintaining end-to-end automation frameworks across UI/API/back-end.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end automated test suites for UI, API, and back-end services.
• Champion AI-first automation strategies and AI-assisted test authoring.
• Lead post-deployment testing, production smoke tests, and validation against live environments.
• Build golden-dataset regression tests for ML pipeline services.
• Collaborate with CPU/QA and RA teams to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor Test Engineer and coordinate offshore/contractor testers.
