Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking a Test Engineer for an on-site role in Columbia, MD. You will develop and maintain test standards, execute testing, and document results to support aerospace/defense products.

The position requires a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience with a BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Test disciplines. Strong analytical skills and independent judgment are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience with a BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Test domains.
• Experience developing and updating test standards and procedures.
• Ability to execute tests and document results clearly.
• Ability to train team members on test equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update test standards for new or enhanced products.
• Execute testing to demonstrate product quality and conformance.
• Identify and recommend test equipment, fixturing, or tooling to meet specs.
• Prepare reports of testing data and evaluate results with recommended improvements.
• Lead or contribute to improvements and train team members on equipment use.
