Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Test Engineer for a high-impact program in the Intelligence Sectors, Cyber and Analytics Business Area. You will own the testing strategy and work with software and DevOps to deliver reliable, mission-critical systems that manage complex data pipelines.

The role requires 8+ years in testing, a technical degree, and hands-on automation with Python, Java, and Bash. Experience with JUnit/Mockito and Linux/AWS is essential, along with TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Test Engineer on programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or 4 extra years of experience in lieu).
• Experience with automated testing and scripting (Python, Java, Bash).
• Hands-on testing with JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience testing in Linux environments and familiarity with AWS.
• Understanding of data ingest processes and data lifecycle management.
• Clearance requirement: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Job Summary

Join a high-impact program delivering critical data capabilities that directly support national security operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and integrity of complex data pipelines and systems, working at the intersection of software, infrastructure, and mission‑driven analytics.

Primary Responsibilities

• Own the testing strategy as the lead Test Engineer on a fast‑paced, mission‑critical program
• Partner directly with software and DevOps engineers to deliver high‑quality, resilient systems
• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests across system, integration, regression, and stress scenarios
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports
• Validate data ingest pipelines and ensure alignment with data lifecycle management requirements
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Contribute to automated testing efforts using tools such as JUnit and Mockito

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Test Engineer supporting programs of similar scope and complexity

Pay Range

Pay Range $116,350.00 – $210,325.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
