A Cyber solutions firm located in Maryland is looking for a seasoned testing professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in system testing and be proficient in various testing methodologies and automation tools. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and expertise in validating enterprise systems. You will collaborate closely with developers and engineers to ensure systems meet performance and security standards, while enjoying a competitive benefits package including training allowances and retirement contributions.

Your Mission:

Drive the success of complex system testing efforts by designing, implementing, and executing rigorous test strategies. Ensure mission‑critical systems meet performance, reliability, and security standards while working closely with developers, engineers, and analysts to identify and resolve issues.

You Will Excel in This Role If You Are:

• Experienced in testing methodologies, frameworks, and best practices
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness
• Skilled in automating test processes for efficiency and repeatability
• Comfortable working in an agile, fast‑paced environment
• Proficient in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving system defects
• Adept at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to refine system performance

A Day in the Life:

• Develop, document, and execute test plans, procedures, and scripts
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing
• Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams
• Automate test cases to improve efficiency and coverage
• Identify, track, and manage defects throughout the software lifecycle
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to validate system functionality and requirements
• Ensure compliance with industry and security standards

Must Haves:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
• 10+ years of experience in system testing, software validation, or related fields
• Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages
• Strong understanding of test methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Expertise in testing enterprise systems, including cybersecurity and intelligence applications

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with cloud‑based testing environments and DevOps practices
• Experience with performance testing and system scalability analysis
• Knowledge of security testing frameworks and best practices
