Job summary

Molecular Devices, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Test Automation in Downingtown, PA to design and maintain automated tests for high-content imaging software. You will collaborate with product, QA and engineering teams to improve coverage and release readiness.

You will own end-to-end test strategies, build reusable frameworks with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript, and help drive CI/CD quality while solving complex problems in a fast-paced, on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or Software Engineering with 5+ years of software/test automation experience.
• Demonstrated end-to-end or integration test design using Cypress or comparable framework.
• Experience in CI/CD integration, pipeline monitoring, and defect diagnosis.
• Proficiency with Git, package management, and REST-based apps.
• Ability to solve complex problems and collaborate across teams in Agile env.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated end-to-end and integration tests for complex imaging software.
• Collaborate with software development, QA and product teams to create reusable test frameworks.
• Monitor CI/CD pipelines, investigate failures, and improve test reliability.
• Translate product risks into automated test designs and coverage backlog.
• Lead automation initiatives and serve as a resource for teammates.
