Job summary

Apple seeks a highly technical automation engineer to build and expand internal automation frameworks, tools and tests across front-end and backend services. You will collaborate with QA to ensure high-quality releases and drive automation initiatives with innovative AI-driven approaches.

The role emphasizes strong Python and Playwright scripting, API test automation, performance testing, and CI/CD with Jenkins in a Unix/Linux environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience writing automation scripts using Playwright in Python.
• Advanced Python programming skills.
• Experience designing and executing automated tests for RESTful API services.
• Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter or Locust.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (TestNG, Pytest) and BDD tools (Cucumber, Gauge).
• Proficient in Git, and CI/CD workflows (Jenkins).
• Experience in Unix/Linux environments and software design principles.
• Ability to create testing and automation strategies and triage issues.
• Hands-on experience with AI-augmented or autonomous testing tools.

Responsibilities
