Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is hiring a Platform Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code across cloud accounts and environments. The role emphasizes reusable Terraform modules, policy enforcement, and scalable pipelines in a remote, U.S.-based setting.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of experience in cloud infra or DevOps with deep Terraform expertise, plus scripting skills in Python/Go/Bash and strong CI/CD experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in cloud infra or DevOps with strong Terraform focus.
• Hands-on production Terraform across at least one major cloud provider.
• Design reusable Terraform modules with clean APIs and version discipline.
• Experience with Terraform state management and backends.
• Strong scripting in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure code and policy enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modular Terraform code spanning accounts/environments.
• Build reusable Terraform modules with interfaces, versioning, and docs.
• Implement Terraform automation pipelines with gates and drift detection.
• Enforce policy-as-code to prevent insecure changes.
• Manage Terraform state at scale with backends and disaster recovery.
• Lead multi-account, multi-region, multi-cloud provisioning strategies.
• Collaborate with security and platform teams to embed guardrails.
• Lead migrations from legacy IaC to Terraform footprints with minimal disruption.
• Mentor teams on Terraform best practices and PR standards.
