Job summary

Raytheon’s Hardware Electrical Engineering Team is seeking mid-career engineers to design Telemetry and Flight Termination systems, with focus on power, servo, and mixed-signal electronics. Design spans from concept to integration, including PCB development and compliance with RCC/FCC/NSA standards.

This U.S.-based role in Tucson, AZ offers relocation eligibility, a 9/80 schedule, and competitive benefits with long-term incentive potential.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with electronics design focusing on systems/subsystems.
• Experience with electrical design specifications.
• Experience with analog electronics design (FETs/BJTs, op-amps, filters, termination, A/D converters, level shifters).
• Experience using MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document analog and mixed-signal electronics circuitry.
• Assist in PCB-level electronics development and subsystem design.
• Serve as the Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for FTS and/or TM designs.
• Compile analyses and documentation to verify compliance with performance requirements.
