Job summary

ARORA ENGINEERS, LLC. seeks a Senior Special Systems Telecom Design Lead to oversee planning, design, and coordination of telecommunications for aviation and transportation projects.

You will guide design teams, mentor staff, and ensure deliverables meet scope, budget, and schedule. Responsibilities include leading outside plant design, structured cabling, fiber backbones, RCDD preferred; work with BIM/CAD, Revit, AutoCAD, and project stakeholders to resolve clashes and QA/QC issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years telecommunications design experience with leadership of design teams.
• RCDD certification preferred; progress toward certification desirable.
• Knowledge of BICSI, TIA, ANSI, NEC requirements.
• Proficiency with Revit and hands-on coordination of construction documents.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination, linked models, and clash resolution.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office; ACC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead telecommunications design from planning through construction administration.
• Coordinate Revit models with other disciplines and resolve clashes.
• Mentor and guide BIM/CAD staff and lead design tasks.
• Coordinate with owners, service providers, and discipline interfaces.
• Review designs for completeness, codes, and QA/QC before issue.
