Ares Technology Consultants, LLC is seeking a Senior Telecom Consultant to independently manage telecom design tasks aligned with project scope, schedule, and budget. You will support the Telecom Consultant Lead with progress updates, budgets, risks, and scope changes while guiding junior consultants.

Responsibilities include documenting RFIs/RFQs, coordinating BIM activities, and ensuring quality through reviews.

• Design experience for buildings' low-voltage and communication systems.
• Familiarity with ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines and clients.

Responsabilidades

• Independently manage telecom design tasks per project scope, deliverables, schedule, and budget.
• Provide updates on progress, deliverables, budget, risks, and scope changes to the lead.
• Track hours and budget in Deltek; flag overruns and billing concerns early.
• Identify out-of-scope requests and coordinate change orders with the lead.
• Mentor Level 1–2 Telecom Consultants and share technical guidance.
• Develop and review telecom design docs: RFIs, RFQs, submittals, QC reviews.
• Support BIM coordination, document management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Use Bluebeam and other tools for markups, coordination, review tracking.
• Participate in meetings, site visits, and client engagements.
• Complete timesheets and admin tasks accurately and on time.

About the role

The Senior Telecom Consultant will independently manage assigned Telecom work, support the Telecom Consultant Lead, guide Level 1 -2 Consultants when needed, and flag project risks early to support the successful delivery of ARES projects.

What you’ll do

• Independently manage assigned Telecom design tasks in alignment with project scope, deliverables, schedule, and budget.
• Support the Telecom Consultant Lead by providing regular updates on project progress, deliverables, budget status, risks, and potential scope changes.
• Track project hours and budget performance in Deltek, identifying potential overruns or billing concerns and escalating issues proactively.
• Identify out-of-scope requests and coordinate with the Telecom Consultant Lead regarding change order requirements.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to Level 1 and Level 2 Telecom Consultants.
• Develop, review, and coordinate Telecom design documentation, including RFIs, RFQs, submittals, and quality control reviews.
• Support BIM coordination activities, document management, and coordination with project stakeholders and MEP disciplines as required.
• Utilize Bluebeam and other design tools to perform markups, coordination, and review tracking.
• Participate in project meetings, site visits, and client engagements as required.
• Complete timesheets, project documentation, and other administrative requirements accurately and on time while supporting overall team success.

Qualifications

• Technical or Associates Degree from an accredited institution
• 2+ years of experience actively designing low voltage and communication systems for buildings
• Familiarity and demonstrated knowledge of ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards
• Experience with Revit software
• Self-motivation to coordinate with other disciplines and clients as necessary
• Credentials as an RCDD or working towards this title (preferred)
• Electrical Engineering degree, or related discipline (preferred)
