Job summary

Crowe in Chicago seeks a Technology Risk and Controls Senior Consultant to join our Consulting Technology Audit team. You will help clients strengthen governance, embed risk considerations into decision making, and deliver transformative IT audit and risk services.

You will execute ITGC, ITSOX, and technology risk engagements, manage workstreams, coach junior staff, and build trusted client relationships while leveraging technology to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MIS or related field.
• 3+ years IT audit, IT risk or IT SOX experience.
• Experience testing ITGCs and ITACs; SDLC knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to document testing clearly.

Responsibilities

• Execute IT audit, IT SOX and technology risk engagements with proper planning.
• Evaluate ITGCs, ITACs, and other controls across systems and environments.
• Test system-generated reports and key information used in business processes.
• Develop work plans, track progress, and communicate status to leadership.
• Coach junior team members and review their work for quality.
• Build client relationships through clear communication and delivery excellence.
