System One is seeking a Senior Technology Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead cross-functional teams across multiple client engagements in Lafayette, LA and other U.S. locations.

The role blends rigorous project governance with agile practices to deliver complex technology solutions, including data pipelines, SQL, Python, and financial modeling systems. Ideal for experienced PMs with PMP/Scrum Master credentials and a track record of delivering enterprise software initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing technology projects.
• 7+ years of progressive IT experience.
• Strong project planning, schedule management, delivery governance, risks, issues, dependencies, and executive reporting.
• SDLC coordination across requirements, development, testing, deployment and production transition.
• Scrum Master experience facilitating ceremonies and impediment removal.
• Proficiency with Jira for backlogs, stories, defects, risks, sprint progress and delivery metrics.
• Confluence for project documentation, decisions, and release communications.
• Requirements management, traceability, and stakeholder communication.
• Onboarding/training/access readiness and adoption coordination.
• Excel for analysis and project controls.
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts, SQL, data pipelines, Python.
• Cross-functional team coordination for complex projects.
• Financial services experience, especially with financial modeling systems.
• Educational background as stated.

Job Title: Senior Technology Project Manager / Scrum Master

• Lead a defined workstream within a larger enterprise technology program, coordinating project planning and execution across the software development lifecycle.
• Manage schedules, requirements, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and delivery metrics.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prepare executive status reports and support timely issue resolution.
• Coordinate user onboarding activities, including communications, training, access, readiness, production support, and adoption.
• Communicate with technical teams, especially regarding data engineering, SQL, data pipelines, and Python, to support a financial modeling system.

Requirements

• 5+ years managing technology projects and 7+ years of progressive IT experience.
• Strong experience with project planning, schedule management, delivery governance, risks, issues, dependencies, and executive reporting.
• Experience coordinating SDLC activities, including requirements, development, testing, release readiness, deployment, and production transition.
• Scrum Master experience facilitating sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and impediment removal.
• Proficiency with Jira for managing backlogs, stories, defects, dependencies, risks, sprint progress, and delivery metrics.
• Experience using Confluence for project documentation, requirements, decisions, meeting notes, and release communications.
• Strong requirements management, traceability, documentation, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience coordinating user onboarding, training, access, readiness, support, and adoption.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for analysis, reconciliation, tracking, project controls, and reporting.
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts, SQL, data pipelines, and Python.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage projects of comparable scope and complexity.
• Financial services experience, particularly with financial modeling systems, is highly desirable.
• Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• PMP and Scrum Master certification are preferred.
