Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Audit Project Manager within Corporate Audit Services to lead complex, cross‑functional audit engagements in Technology Services. You will oversee engagement progress, coach junior staff, and work with business lines to strengthen risk controls.

Applicants should have extensive IT controls auditing, data analytics experience, and stakeholder facilitation skills. Familiarity with cloud technologies and regulatory requirements is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than eight years of applicable experience.
• Experience in IT applications controls and IT general controls testing.
• Experience executing multiple integrated audits concurrently.
• Experience utilizing data analytics in audits.
• Experience in leading stakeholder meetings and addressing QA queries.
• Professional certifications are preferred (e.g., CISA).

Responsibilities

• Lead complex audit projects that are horizontal in nature and supervise staff in the completion of audit engagements.
• Monitor progress of audit engagements against plan and schedule; assess work performed by the team.
• Provide coaching and on-the-job training to ensure adherence to policies.
• Serve as SME in a topic; support multiple audit engagements.
• Handle complex tasks autonomously and influence risk discussions.
• Partner with business lines and RCA teams to implement risk management frameworks.
• Participate in projects to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Identify gaps and propose solutions to minimize losses.
• Elevate risks as appropriate; support cloud migration efforts.
