Job summary

Great American Insurance Group seeks a seasoned IT professional to analyze business issues, define requirements, and design or implement IT solutions that align with organizational goals in a dynamic U.S. office.

With a Bachelor’s degree, 6+ years of related experience, and knowledge of networking, automation tools, and end-user training, you will help drive projects for AFG Enterprise Services and contribute to a stable, inclusive workplace.

  • Generally, a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
  • This job is non-exempt in California.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes business issues and defines requirements to design and/or implement IT solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Collaborates with team members and leadership to help execute or lead technology projects in alignment with business units.
  • Develops and implements automated system protocols that reduce manual processes, increasing operational efficiency and resiliency.
  • Demonstrates knowledge in Networking, Audio/Video Protocols, and familiarity with AI Automation tools.
  • May create end-user documentation and deliver training to ensure successful adoption of new systems.
  • May monitor project milestones, phases, and elements to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Information Technology/Computer Science or related field

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities


  • Analyzes business issues and defines requirements to design and/or implement IT solutions that align with organizational goals.

  • Collaborates with team members and team leadership to help execute or lead technology projects in alignment with business units.

  • Develops and implements automated system protocols that reduce manual processes, increasing overall operational efficiency and resiliency.

  • Demonstrate strong industry knowledge in areas of Networking, Audio/Video Protocols, and familiarity with AI Automation tools.

  • May create end-user documentation and deliver training to ensure successful adoption of new systems.

  • May monitor project milestones, phases, and elements to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.

  • Familiarity with remote access software tools.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Job Requirements


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
