Job summary

Niron Magnetics in Minneapolis, MN seeks a skilled Grinder Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will perform grinding operations, set up and monitor equipment, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

You will work on the production floor with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement, leveraging your 8–10 years of grinding experience to troubleshoot issues and maintain efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience, 8–10 years, in grinding operations.
• Proficient operation of production equipment with strong attention to safety and quality.
• Ability to monitor processes, recognize abnormalities, and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of grinding processes, tooling, and measurement techniques (or demonstrated ability to learn quickly).
• Accurate interpretation of work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, machining, or technician role preferred.
• Ability to follow standard work, safety procedures, and quality requirements consistently.
• Comfortable working on the production floor and performing hands-on technical work.
