Job summary

JMS Technical Solutions is seeking a Senior Technician-Equipment (CMP) in Gresham, OR to support CMP equipment maintenance on a back-nights compressed workweek. The role is on-site, full-time, and direct-hire with a salary up to $104K, based on experience.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in CMP equipment maintenance, an AA degree or equivalent, strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of CMP equipment including AMAT Mirra, Mirra Mesa tools, DNSE AS2000 Post Clean and Daifuku Stockers.
• Troubleshoot electronic, electrical, and mechanical problems.
• Work safely with radiation, electrical, mechanical, liquid, and gas hazards.
• Disassemble, adjust and repair equipment per maintenance specs and OEM manuals.
• Present issues and solutions clearly to the group; communicate effectively.

Job description

Our client in Gresham, Oregon, is lookingforaSenior Technician-Equipment (CMP) to join their team!

This is an on-site/full-time/direct-hire position

Salary based on experience: Up to $104K

This position will support maintenance of CMP equipment on the back-nights compressed workweek shift (Wed, Thu, Fri, every other Sat, 6:15 PM to 6:30 AM). Must practice excellent troubleshooting methods and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Essential Functions

• Repair and maintenance of CMP equipment, including AMAT Mirra and Mirra Mesa tools, DNSE AS2000 Post Clean and Daifuku Stockers, as well as wafer handling tools such as Kensington, Recif, and Cybeq sorters.


• Troubleshoot electronic, electrical, and mechanical problems.


• Work safely with systems that contain radiation, electrical, mechanical, liquid, and gas hazards.


• Disassemble, adjust, and repair equipment according to maintenance specifications and OEM manuals.


• Present issues and solutions to the group. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills are essential.


• Must be a self-starter who can plan effectively, re-prioritize, and ask for help when needed.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

• AA degree (or planned completion in current academic year) in a technical field. Or equivalent military training or technical degree.


• 7+ years of experience in CMP equipment maintenance.


• Electronic and mechanical aptitude. Passion for electronic and mechanical tinkering.


• Ability to apply theoretical/textbook concepts in practical, real-world applications.


• Creative thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.


• Must be competent in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).


• Strong organization, documentation, and writing skills.


• A successful candidate must be self-directed, self-motivated, and work in a highly team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.

Special Requirements

• Participation as an active member of the Fab 4 ERT (Emergency Response Team).


• Ability to meet the requirements of the ERT physical.


• Must pass a physical, fit test, and medical clearance for the use of a tight-fitting respirator (SCBA full-face mask level).


• Must maintain physical requirements for wearing SCBA full-face mask level.


• Must be able and willing to travel for training purposes.

Critical Physical Requirements

• Able to lift, push, pull approx. 50 lbs; carry 50 lbs; sit 5%; stand 60%; walk 35%; must be able to perform activities that include climbing, bending at waist, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, crawling, handling, feeling, hearing, talking, seeing. Work environment could include slippery surfaces, noise or vibrations, mechanical hazards, electrical hazards, fumes or odors, dust or gases.
