Job summary

North Florida Lincoln in Jacksonville, FL is seeking certified automotive technicians to join our world-class service team. We offer a family atmosphere, top pay, and a supportive work environment where skilled technicians can grow.

Responsibilities include performing repairs to dealership standards, testing systems with diagnostic tools, and communicating with the Service Advisor about needed work and time estimates. A high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

High School diploma.
At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician; Lincoln certification is a huge plus.
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
Valid driver’s license.
Ensures that customers’ cars are kept clean.

Responsibilities

Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, and provides an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
