Zohorecruit seeks a Technical Writer (Level 3) with active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph for Annapolis Junction, MD. You will author and maintain technical documentation, acquisition deliverables, and training materials for cryptologic systems and DoD programs.

You will work with engineers, developers, and SMEs to translate complex concepts into clear docs, ensure NSA DS-89 and DoD compliance, and lead documentation projects across multiple contributors.

Competenze

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline plus at least 8 years of technical writing experience on programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity, OR Master’s degree plus 6 years of experience (Master's substituting for 2 years).
• 12 years of relevant technical writing experience without a degree (4 additional years substituting for the degree).
• Demonstrated expertise authoring documentation in compliance with NSA Data Standard (DS)-89 and defense acquisition frameworks.
• Proven ability to document complex cryptologic systems, software development workflows, and engineering schematics.

Mansioni

• Author, edit, and maintain complex technical publications, user manuals, SOPs, training guides, and system design specs.
• Develop defense acquisition lifecycle documentation for DoD electronic systems and cryptologic platforms.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to NSA DS-89 and DoD guidelines.
• Gather technical data from engineering docs, schematics, and subject matter experts.
• Interpret drawings and workflows to synthesize large volumes of software and system data.
• Lead documentation projects across multiple contributors, coordinating formatting and layout.
• Perform peer reviews and QA on deliverables.
• Maintain the program's centralized internal documentation repository.
• Prepare high-level reports and presentations using Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
