Qualifications

• 10+ years in petrochemical/industrial manufacturing
• 6–8 years in technical writing for engineering/maintenance
• 6+ years manufacturing with hands-on knowledge of equipment
• Strong knowledge of refinery and petrochemical process units and terminology
• 5+ years with Word, Excel, Visio, TruView
• Gathering information from SMEs to translate into documentation
• Experience creating procedures, manuals, training materials
• Editing and document control skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
• Manage priorities and deadlines
• Communicate with site SMEs

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation including operating procedures, maintenance manuals, standards, work instructions, training materials, and engineering documents
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, operations personnel, and project teams to gather technical information
• Translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation
• Ensure documentation complies with standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
• Review and revise existing documents for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
• Support document control, version management, and change management activities
• Create and maintain documentation supporting operational excellence, safety, reliability, and compliance initiatives
• Participate in technical reviews
• Facilitate document approval workflows
