Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Technical Writer to partner with our intelligence systems engineering team to generate and maintain engineering and developer-focused documentation. You will work with developers and users to understand usage, identify gaps, and raise the quality bar on written artifacts.

This role supports the product development lifecycle from planning to deployment, contributes to style guides and tooling, and ensures documentation enables frontline decision makers to use

Qualifications

• 8+ years of demonstrated excellence generating technical documentation for various levels of technical audiences.
• Ability to read and interpret software and hardware documentation for complex technical products.
• Excellent written and in-person communication for diverse audiences.
• Customer/mission-first mindset supporting national security goals.
• Self-starter who can work independently in unstructured environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, SMEs, and PMs to translate concepts into clear docs.
• A passion for documentation quality and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and edit documentation that is user-focused and high quality.
• Documentation covers full development lifecycle from planning to deployment and integration.
• Work with engineering to ship user-friendly documentation that informs and guides users.
• Contribute to the technical writing toolkit: style guides and lifecycle processes.
• Build partnerships across the business to understand users and products.
