Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Senior Technical Training Project Manager to join our team in Virginia, Florida, Maryland, and other locations. The role develops, implements, and evaluates employee training plans and programs, leading multidisciplinary teams to support critical organizational needs.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in technical training development and supervision, with the ability to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years, Master’s with 10+, or Doctorate with 8+ years of experience supervising and/or developing and leading training.
• Conceptual and practical knowledge in technical training development and team supervision.
• Experience supervising professionals and accountability for team performance.
• Ability to adapt plans, set priorities, and manage resource and budgets.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the year to assignments in VA, FL, MD, and other locations.

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Technical Training Project Manager to join our team in Virginia, Florida, Maryland, and other locations.

The Senior Technical Training Project Manager will leverage their strong technical background and leadership experience to develop, implement, and evaluate employee training plans and programs, managing operational priorities and guiding multidisciplinary teams to support critical organizational needs.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Developing, implementing, and evaluating employee technical and nontechnical training plans and programs to support organizational needs.
• Monitoring training programs, assessing needs and operational results, and modifying existing programs to increase efficiency and team success.
• Managing professional associates and supervisors while holding accountability for the overall performance and results of the team.
• Adapting departmental plans and setting operational priorities to resolve resource challenges and meet service commitments.
• Providing subject matter guidance to associates, colleagues, and customers while integrating industry best practices to achieve key objectives.
• Identifying and resolving complex business problems guided by organizational policies, resource requirements, budgets, and business plans.
• Guiding, influencing, and persuading internal and external stakeholders to drive program innovation and maintain service quality.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 15+ years, Master’s Degree with 10+ years, or Doctorate Degree with 8+ years of experience supervising and/or developing and leading non-technical and/or technical training.
• In-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in technical training development and team supervision to identify and resolve complex business problems.
• Demonstrated experience managing professional associates or supervisors and taking accountability for team performance and results.
• Proven experience adapting departmental plans, setting priorities, and managing resource and budget requirements.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the year to assignment locations in Virginia, Florida, Maryland, and other locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Military-style technical or non-technical training and instructional design experience.
• Experience implementing industry best practices across complex government contracting or technical training programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven capability to guide, influence, and persuade internal and external stakeholders.

Clearance Requirements

• US Citizenship is required

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
