LiDestri Foods in Rochester, NY is hiring a Manufacturing Technical Training Manager to build structured qualification programs that raise safety, efficiency, and consistency across the manufacturing workforce. You will partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Sanitation, and Engineering to translate hands-on knowledge into standardized learning and competency systems.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods.
• Experience conducting job and task analyses using DACUM, SCID, or other competency-based methodologies.
• Experience developing technical training, standardized work, and qualification systems for manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional teams and partner with operational leaders and SMEs.
• Project or program management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce capability development by analyzing roles and building qualification programs.
• Perform job and task analyses using DACUM/SCID; maintain competency profiles.
• Develop standardized work, SOPs, job breakdown sheets, and training materials.
• Design hands-on training, operator certification, task books, and skills assessments.
• Partner with operations, engineering, HR to implement training across facilities.
• Monitor metrics like time-to-proficiency and qualification status.
