Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Technical Analyst/Targeter to support a dynamic US Government program on systems engineering and intelligence analysis. The role involves deep technical analysis, open-source research, and briefings for senior leaders, contributing to national security missions.

You will operate in a collaborative, long-running program with seasoned professionals, requiring clear communication, rigorous tradecraft, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or commensurate experience can substituted for the degree
• Must currently hold a TS/SCI with Poly to be considered
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• 5 years or more of demonstrated targeting experience and deep familiarity with appropriate analyst and targeter tradecraft
• Experience with various SATCOM and weapons systems, programs, modeling & simulation
• Experience with telemetry, tracking and control (TT&C)
• Experience with operational tradecraft, workflows, and policies and procedures
• Ability to analyze, prioritize, and effectively solve problems, synthesize large amounts of data/information and to work several tasks concurrently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and briefing skills; ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Excellent writing and technical editing skills
• Experience writing technical intelligence reports
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform deep technical analysis, task selectors, exploit data sets, report findings.
• Conduct open-source research to identify activities aligned with predefined requirements.
• Provide intelligence support including analysis for industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability.
• Prepare and present briefings on requirements, capabilities, and project status for senior executives.
• Provide operational guidance and engage with organizations across the IC and DoD.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from across organizations on an integrated, multidisciplinary team.
