The team there builds some of the most precise clocks in the world: cesium beam frequency standards, rubidium oscillators, and Chip-Scale Atomic Clocks used in commercial, defense, and aerospace systems. The Beverly team has delivered products that changed our world including the atomic clocks that enabled the GPS satellites to operate and more recently the world’s smallest and lowest power atomic clock. We're looking for a senior hardware leader to own system architecture from first schematic to fielded product and to raise the technical bar for the engineers around them.

  • Partner with firmware, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver products.
  • Review and approve schematics, layouts, and design documentation.
  • Ensure designs meet industry, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Work directly with customers to define requirements and solve hard technical problems.
  • Continuously improve how we design: methods, tools, and process.
Requirements/Qualifications
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years leading hardware or embedded system design, with products you've taken to market

  • Clear communication and a track record of working well across disciplines and with leadership
  • Desired: Experience with atomic clocks, precision timing, or positioning/navigation/timing (PNT) FPGA/CPLD design experience
