SC Johnson in Racine is seeking a Senior Technician, Chemistry – Formulation to join our ICB Air Care Team. You will contribute to developing and testing new consumer products with hands-on formulation work.

You will follow GLP, document methods and results, and collaborate with R&D and manufacturing to deliver high-quality, safe formulations. This role offers a structured lab environment and opportunities to innovate.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or related discipline with minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulation and development of Air Care products under guidance of senior scientists and engineers.
• Develop and document new laboratory methods to support ICB Air Care.
• Prepare and test prototype formulations following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Conduct claims-related testing and performance evaluations on formulated products.
• Record data and observations in electronic lab notebooks per company standards.
• Maintain equipment, supplies and inventory; ensure cleanliness and organization.
