Peraton is seeking a Senior Technical Architect for a remote, 12‑month program to lead system integration design, API and ETL architecture, and documentation across a federal data migration initiative.
You will drive source-to-target mappings, API specifications, and interoperability testing, coordinating with the Technical Architect SME and ensuring governance standards are met.
Peraton's Department of the Interior (DOI), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), and NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) have identified a critical gap in the federal government's ability to conduct comprehensive Endangered Species Act (ESA) research. While FWS operates an authoritative web-based platform for managing data for terrestrial and freshwater species, it does not currently include NMFS marine and anadromous species data forcing agencies to rely on separate, manual processes. This program closes that gap by integrating marine and anadromous species data into the existing FWS platform, creating a single, unified experience for all ESA-listed species.
Peraton is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to support system integration design, technical documentation, and interoperability testing architecture on a federal data migration program. Working closely with the Technical Architect SME, you will lead key technical design activities and serve as a technical reviewer and documentation lead across the project.
This is a fully remote position supporting a 12-month period of performance with potential for follow-on work and possible placement in other programs across Peraton at the conclusion of the program.
