Job summary

Temporal is seeking a collaborative and motivated Senior Recruiter to join our growing team. You’ll work directly with executives, hiring managers, and leaders across engineering, go-to-market, and operations to attract top talent.

In this fast-paced role you will own full-cycle recruiting, craft proactive sourcing strategies, partner with People Operations, and uphold Temporal’s values of excellence and belonging as we scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience and deep technical fluency.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments.
• Ability to source passive candidates and engage technical communities.
• Strong knowledge of ATS (Ashby preferred) and sourcing platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; interface with senior leadership.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to diverse, values-aligned teams.

Responsibilities

• Support hiring across R&D functions, including engineering and technical roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and priorities across departments.
• Own full-cycle recruiting from sourcing to offer negotiation.
• Source high-quality, diverse talent via creative outreach and communities.
• Manage recruiting workflows using Ashby ATS for a data-informed process.
• Provide a world-class candidate experience reflecting Temporal's values.
• Identify and remove bottlenecks to maintain velocity without sacrificing quality.
• Support onboarding transitions with People Operations.
