Job summary

Optomi is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead a large-scale warehouse management system modernization initiative in partnership with a major entertainment corporation.

The role focuses on replacing end-of-life systems, modernizing warehouse technology, and driving operational efficiency. You will manage timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables while applying Scrum Master practices and collaborating with analysts, engineers, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of hands-on technical project management experience leading complex technology initiatives.
• Strong Scrum Master experience, including Agile ceremonies, sprint coordination, blocker resolution, and team facilitation.
• Experience managing project timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Proficiency in Smartsheet, Confluence, and Microsoft collaboration tools.
• Strong stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage projects and quickly adapt to unfamiliar technical environments.
• Warehouse management systems, Blue Yonder, or supply chain technology experience is highly preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical project management activities for the warehouse modernization initiative.
• Manage project kickoff, planning, timelines, milestones, resources, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Apply Scrum Master practices to facilitate Agile execution, remove blockers, and support effective team collaboration.
• Coordinate with product analysts, delivery managers, software engineers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Proactively identify project risks, track progress, and communicate status updates to leadership.
• Ensure project milestones are met and deliverables align with business objectives.
• Build strong working relationships across technical and business teams to support successful project execution.
• Quickly develop an understanding of warehouse technology and project requirements to independently drive initiatives forward.
