Job summary

Firefly Aerospace seeks a Technical Program Manager to own the execution of capital projects—test stands, launch sites, and fixtures—across multiple programs. You will lead engineers from concept through commissioning, driving schedule, budget, and technical trade-offs to deliver mission-ready infrastructure for spaceflight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, or related field and eligibility to work in the U.S.
• 3–5+ years managing complex technical capital infrastructure projects
• Experience with cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary engineering reviews
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and P&IDs

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of major capital projects ($1M–$20M+) for test fixtures, stands, and launch sites.
• Lead technical reviews (PDR/CDR/ORR) and resolve engineering trade-offs.
• Coordinate with procurement, construction, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocations with risk management.
• Ensure safety, quality, and aerospace standards compliance across projects.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams.
