This position is uniquely placed where novel test methodology creation, silicon execution, and datacenter/field testability intersect. It offers a chance to influence the future of computing.

What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you will work closely with DFX engineers, development managers, and cross-functional partners across silicon design, verification, software, manufacturing ops, and datacenter to lead innovation programs and process initiatives. You will own the full innovation program lifecycle for DFX technologies — from concept and architectural specification through silicon validation, field deployment, and productization. Collaboration with engineering teams to compose architecture, workflows, and integration requirements for innovation programs is key. Developing and managing project schedules, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure programs remain on track for both build and deployment landmarks is essential. You will participate in key build reviews and technical forums, managing scope changes efficiently in collaboration with engineering partners. Acting as the primary liaison between DFX Engineering, Silicon Design, Software, Manufacturing, and datacenter/field operations teams is a significant part of the role. Proactively identifying technical and schedule risks and developing mitigation strategies in partnership with engineering will be crucial. Providing clear status updates and communicating issues to leadership with recommendations to support tough trade-offs is encouraged. Gathering takeaways across programs and institutionalizing standard methodologies to drive continuous process improvement for innovation program execution is also part of your responsibilities.

What we need to see:
  • BS (Masters preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in technical program management (8+ years overall experience) with a strong focus on semiconductor development
  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of the ASIC/SoC Build, Verification, and/or Bring Up/Validation/Productization flow
  • Experience managing innovation programs or research-to-silicon initiatives, comfortable driving alignment across teams when there is no established playbook
  • Ability to handle rapid development cycles and constant change, remaining flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty
  • Proven ability to manage complex, ambiguous programs in a fast-paced environment and implement process improvements through automation
  • Experience scripting and automating project management tasks; proficiency in Python preferred
  • Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated critical thinking and technical judgment and outstanding communication and organizational skills
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Familiarity with DFX methodologies including IST is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of APIs and data analytics for program management and metrics dashboards
