Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Technical Program Manager III for Compliance in Kirkland, WA or Sunnyvale, CA. This role focuses on leading cross-functional initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance across distributed cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with Legal, Engineering, and Product teams to define programs, manage risks, and communicate with executives. The role emphasizes governance, stakeholder management, and ability to drive complex, multi-team projects in a large-scale engineering

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in program management.
Experience with international regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, sovereign cloud boundaries).
Experience working on distributed systems or platforms.

Responsibilities

Define, lead, and own program charters across scope, timeline, resourcing, and risks.
Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Legal, and stakeholders to bootstrap new compliance programs.
Identify and manage dynamic program risks and dependencies.
Establish governance structures with mitigation tracking and postmortems.
Manage stakeholder communications translating infrastructure constraints to business outcomes.
