Job summary

Rocket Lab’s Long Beach, CA headquarters seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager II for Advanced RF Systems (TS/SCI). You own the technical roadmap and decisions from prototype to high-rate production across national security and commercial missions.

You’ll lead multiple programs, make architecture calls with Chief Engineers, and drive progress in phased arrays, DSP, and manufacturing while partnering with suppliers and cross-functional teams to deliver mission success.

Qualifications

8+ years of aerospace program management experience.
Track record of owning a technical program end to end.
Experience moving hardware/software from prototype to flight-ready production.
Understanding transponders, SAR, or advanced communication systems.
Experience identifying and mitigating risk to protect mission.
Active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

Build and lead the team that takes RF payloads from concept through qualification and high-rate production.
Run multiple programs, make architectural decisions with Chief Engineers, and manage trade-offs in phased arrays and DSP.
Grow a culture of bold, informed decision-making and coach future leaders.
Manage high-stakes subcontracts and suppliers as strategic partners.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to maintain speed and quality.
Act as the primary technical contact for national security, civil, and commercial customers.
