Job summary

Spotify is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to shape the systems behind core listening experiences. You will work with engineering and design to build scalable, flexible platform capabilities and define success metrics across Spotify’s consumer products.

You’ll collaborate with Data Science and User Research to balance new opportunities with technical debt, improve performance, and support teams relying on shared infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, including building or improving technical platforms and shared capabilities.
• Experience working with engineers to connect technical decisions to user needs and business outcomes.
• Familiarity with mobile app performance, UI architecture, and design systems is a plus.
• Experience guiding products beyond launch, managing technical debt, and evolving systems as needs grow.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your area, linking technical investments to user needs and company goals.
• Partner with engineering to explore technical solutions, trade-offs, and decisions that improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Develop shared platform capabilities to enable teams to deliver consistent, high-quality experiences.
• Improve adoption and value of platform capabilities by gathering feedback and measuring outcomes.
• Collaborate with Design, Data Science, and User Research to understand needs and define success metrics.
• Lead with experimentation, prototypes, and data to test ideas and adapt approaches.
