Raydar is seeking an experienced Product Manager to own a product area from research to launch and beyond. This role is an individual contributor role, collaborating daily with engineers, designers, and commercial colleagues, with no people management duties.

You will build prototypes using AI-assisted coding tools, set measurable goals, and drive post-launch improvements. Travel domestically about once a month and help with positioning alongside sales and customer success teams.

Formación

• 5 to 10 years in product management or related discipline as an IC.
• Currently founder or product manager in that role for at least 1 year.
• Background in business-focused subscription software at early-stage or scaling company.
• Track record of taking a new product from nothing to launch.
• Enough technical depth to build prototypes with AI-assisted tools.
• Hands-on work with external system connections and partner interfaces.
• Concise, clear written documentation to help teams make decisions.
• Located in the United States and authorized to work without visa sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel domestically about once a month.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Take full ownership of a product area, guiding it from early research through launch and ongoing refinement. You will partner daily with engineers, designers and commercial colleagues, and this is a hands‑on individual contributor position rather than a people management one.

Requirements

What we're looking for

• 5 to 10 years in product management or a closely related discipline, such as forward-deployed engineering, as an individual contributor.
• Currently working as a founder or product manager, and in that position for at least 1 year.
• Background in business-focused subscription software at an early-stage or scaling company, with a history of delivering under tight resources and fast timelines.
• A track record of taking a brand-new product or capability from nothing to launch, beyond maintaining an existing backlog.
• Enough technical depth to build prototypes with AI-assisted tools, navigate source code and take part in design discussions.
• Hands‑on work with external system connections and partner interfaces.
• Concise, clear written documentation that helps teams make decisions.
• Located in the United States and authorized to work without visa sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel domestically about once a month.

Bonus points

• Prior work in a regulated sector such as financial services, insurance or healthcare.
• An earlier career in software engineering or customer‑embedded engineering before moving into product.
• A technical university degree.
• Familiarity with large language model concepts and having released AI‑driven functionality to users.
• Comfort with data analysis, building reports and using metrics to guide post‑launch improvements.
• Experience as a startup founder.
