Applied Research Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex, onsite programs involving modernization of explosives and energetic materials production facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline with 8-10 years of experience, or Master's with 6-8 years.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience managing DoW or DoE projects involving facilities improvements with capital expenditure and manufacturing process implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with government agencies, contractors, and vendors.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project execution with detailed planning, scheduling, and procurement aligned with customer specs.
• Develop and implement strategies to meet objectives while controlling scope, schedule, and budget.
• Monitor performance and address scope issues, risks, and resources with Project Controls Analysts.
• Prepare detailed progress reports for senior leadership.
• Engage with subcontractors, federal agencies, and partners to drive project success.
• Lead safe and cost-effective execution of manufacturing capabilities in complex production environments.
• Plan and execute goals aligned with client objectives; lead regular client meetings.
• Implement and monitor safety and quality programs ensuring compliance with terms and standards.
