Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services in Houston, TX, is seeking a Technical Lead for Full-Stack Software & Data to steer cloud-native solutions, data platforms, and AI-enabled tools within Cementing. This senior IC role drives technical direction, coordinates across disciplines, and mentors engineers to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and security.

You will shape scalable architectures, lead APIs and data products, and promote modern engineering practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of software engineering experience or 14 years equivalent.
Experience building modern full-stack apps with RESTful APIs.
Cloud-native and containerized application design experience.
Strong software architecture and distributed-systems knowledge.
Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated technical leadership through hands-on delivery.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical lead within a cross-functional POD, translating objectives into architecture and priorities.
Lead design, development, and delivery of full-stack software for Cementing products.
Design scalable frontend, backend, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native platforms.
Set technical direction across software engineering, data, and infrastructure.
Coordinate work across disciplines and remove delivery obstacles.
Collaborate with Product Champion and domain experts to deliver POD outcomes.
Establish coding standards, security requirements, and testing practices.
Lead cloud-native, containerized, microservices architectures and data pipelines.
Promote AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices.
Review architecture and quality, ensuring reliability and performance.
Mentor engineers and foster knowledge sharing across the POD and Cementing Digital.
