Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Seattle is seeking a Senior Program Manager to own end-to-end delivery of critical data center infrastructure initiatives. You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software teams to optimize server rack placement and data center layouts, driving remediation and SOP development.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize utilization of electrical distribution systems across AWS data center fleet.
  • Partner with electrical and mechanical engineers across data center (DC) engineering, DC operations, Field engineering teams to drive remediation for underutilized equipment.
  • Develop and execute SOPs for remediation of oversubscribed electrical distribution systems in partnership with electrical engineering teams.
  • Work with software development teams to enhance existing software solutions for optimal server rack placement with data center cold aisles to balance loads.

Key job responsibilities

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
