Walbridge is seeking an experienced individual to join as an internal technical consultant focusing on electrical and mechanical disciplines. This role involves providing technical support during project design, managing the start-up process, and ensuring construction activities meet professional standards.

Candidates should possess a 4-year engineering degree and a minimum of 8 years of extensive experience in construction technology. Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years extensive experience related to electrical/mechanical discipline.
• Thorough knowledge of construction technology, equipment, materials, methods.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during design and preconstruction.
• Manage Equipment start up turnaround process V-Start (KAN-BAN).
• Assist in implementing QC Planning and inspection process.
• Monitor Field Construction of Electrical/Mechanical subcontractors.
• Provide expert technical support to resolve field construction issues.
• Develop and maintain general instructions for field construction methods.
• Review A/E specifications to ensure technical and code requirements are met.
• Research and recommend new construction processes and methods.
