NikeSKIMS is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to shape the future of its apparel line. You will drive fit and construction from concept to buy-ready, aligning with performance and profitability goals across Nike and SKIMS.

This fast-paced role requires navigating multiple priorities, problem solving on the fly, and delivering high-quality product that blends Nike’s performance with SKIMS’ fit mastery. You will collaborate daily with Design, Product Development, Fabric/Trim and Quality teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design, Textile Science, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
• A minimum of 3 years of directly relevant work experience.
• Foundational understanding of the apparel development process from inception through production, including pattern making, grading, construction, materials, costing, manufacturing and quality.
• Strong problem solving, organization and communication skills.
• Strong experience interpreting design intent and offering alternative solutions.
• Strong experience writing product specs and construction standards instructions.
• Experience working with factory vendors to ensure and improve manufacturability.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using Adobe Illustrator, CAD Pattern Design software (Optitex) and 3D software (Clo/Browzwear) highly desired.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time (domestic and international ).

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned styles within the NikeSKIMS Apparel Technical Design team through to fit approval. Create and maintain detailed tech packs for factory partners, including measurements, construction sketches, and graphic placements
• Request, track, review, and comment on physical and digital prototypes
• Lead focused proto review and fit sessions with the triad team, inclusive of senior leaders
• Navigate gates, calendars, and key milestones to ensure on‑time buy readiness
• Communicate progress, risks, and solutions with clarity in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment
