AHEAD is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to lead Modern Apps & Platform Engineering initiatives for our client ecosystem in the United States. You will drive architecture, design, and delivery of complex, transformational solutions while mentoring engineers and shaping project roadmaps.

In this role, you will mentor teams, present to client senior leaders, and establish technical roadmaps and innovation plans.

Qualifications

• 6+ years IT experience with Cloud, DevOps, automation and modernization.
• Ability to design solutions on a whiteboard for business/tech goals.
• Certifications such as AWS/Azure/ Terraform are common in this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of enterprise-grade technical solutions for clients.
• Develop high-quality deliverables and presentations for client teams and executives.
• Create and present solution designs and roadmaps to leadership.
• Develop and maintain technical roadmaps and innovation plans.

Senior Technical Consultant

Serving as a technical thought leader and SME for our ecosystem of partners, customers, and service providers in the realm of Modern Apps & Platform Engineering, the Senior Technical Consultant works as part of the consulting team to lead the development, design, implementation and engagement leader of client solutions. Senior Technical Consultants mentor and provide direction to engineers on a project by project basis and within the broader organization as it relates to internal initiatives and indirect project support.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements complex, mission-critical transformational enterprise grade technical solutions for clients.
• Develops high quality deliverables and presentations for Client engineering teams and senior leaders.
• Creates and presents solution designs, options, ideas, and innovations to clients’ senior leadership teams.
• Develops and maintains technical roadmaps and innovation plans.
• Develops and implements CI/CD solutions.
• Establishes project estimates and plans, identifies risks and mitigations, oversees development and delivery of technical solutions.
• Mentor and support project teammates
• Actively lead collaboration within our technical communities

Qualifications

• 6+ years of IT experience and 3+ years of Cloud, DevOps, Automation, Application Modernization, Digital Transformation experience.
• Experience and ability to “jump on a whiteboard” in front of a customer to develop a solution to a business / technology goal or challenge.
• Multiple certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Pro, AWS DevOps Engineer Pro, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Terraform Associate, etc.
• Hands‑on experience designing and implementing platform core services around compute, storage, networking, databases, containers, security, identity, etc.

Compensation

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
