Job summary

LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) seeks a Senior Associate for Data Collection Development across the Americas. You will gather and document business requirements, work with exchanges and internal teams, and support production systems with data supplied from stock exchanges in the US, Canada, and Latin America.

You will lead multi-project delivery, collaborate with programmers, and ensure accurate specifications and test cases.

• Work on multiple project types for the Americas region (Canada, U.S., Latin America).
• Regularly review Market Place using vendor alerts/notices for project needs.
• Collaborate with programmers to suggest data/DB structures and content.
• Gather requirements to create product specs for developers and document test cases.
• Participate in cross-departmental meetings and document project reports.
• Provide feedback on scope changes impacting clients and projects.
• Lead delivery of new systems and workflow implementations with planning and reporting.
• Lead task development, QA and resolve dependencies.
• Identify risks and issues; propose mitigations for steering committee decisions.
• Establish productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Role Summary

Data Collection Development Americas comprises several teams who lead the development of real-time systems that collect data from stock exchanges in the US, Canada and Latin America; this data is critical to hundreds of thousands of customers around the globe. The group makes 1000+ software releases each year to support the constant changes demanded by both customers and exchanges alike. The Business Analyst Position entails becoming the market logic expert for assigned feeds, gathering and documenting business requirements and support their application into our production systems.

What You will be Doing:

• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs covering multiple Refinitiv's networks and products. The main purpose is the collection, certification, and dissemination of stock exchange and contributed data.

• Work on multiple project types: additions, required day-1 changes, modifications, enhancements, and removals for the entire Americas region (Canada, U.S., Latin America)

• Constant and proactive review of the Market Place through research and vendor alerts/notices from stock exchanges/contributors. Make decisions on whether new projects are required for the company and segregate into the categories listed above.

• Work directly with programmers to recommend the development or modification of computer programs, database structures, and data dictionary content.

• Gather requirements from various business segments to create product specifications for developers and organize the test cases (documenting the steps) which arise from them.

• Participate in cross-departmental meetings and cross-train with other team members. Work as a team to document, track, and produce reports for all projects pertinent to the group.

• Provide regular feedback regarding changes in scope to current project list with respect to changes that may impact client organizations.

• Leads project delivery of new systems and workflow implementation, produce project planning and thereafter regular project status reporting.

• Leads project task development, Quality Assurance and resolve dependencies.

• Identifies project risks and issues, propose mitigation actions and ensure high priority items are raised to project steering committee for decision making.

• Ability to establish successful and productive working relationships with a diverse set of personalities.
