Job summary

Centric Software, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Architect to lead the technical design and implementation of Centric Planning solutions for retailers.

You will design scalable architectures, oversee integrations and guide successful deployments, combining technical leadership with hands-on delivery. The role requires 7+ years in enterprise software or solution architecture, strong SQL Server knowledge, and experience with APIs, ETL, and Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in enterprise software implementation or solution architecture.
• Strong SQL Server knowledge and database design experience.
• Experience designing enterprise integrations using APIs and ETL technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of retail planning, merchandise planning or supply chain systems.
• Excellent customer-facing consulting and communication skills; ability to explain complex tech to business stakeholders.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and mentor others.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
• Power BI experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture of Centric Planning implementations with scalable, secure, high-performing designs.
• Define integration strategies connecting Centric Planning with ERP, data warehouses and third-party apps.
• Create and review technical designs and integration blueprints.
• Advise customers on architecture best practices and deployment approaches.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor consultants and team members.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering and customers to resolve complex integration challenges.
• Support installation, configuration, upgrades and performance tuning.
• Promote standards, reusable frameworks and best practices.
• Contribute to solution sizing, discovery and pre-sales activities.
• Continuously improve delivery methodologies and technical standards.
