Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead technical accounting analyses and support financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and SEC requirements. The role partners with FP&A, legal, treasury, regulatory, IT and other stakeholders to ensure accurate guidance on complex transactions.

The candidate will supervise accounting staff, prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries, and maintain accounting policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• At least six years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Supervisory experience in accounting environment.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• CPA certification preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting analysis across the organization.
• Provide guidance on complex transactions and new accounting standards.
• Research and document accounting positions and update policies.
• Assess impact of emerging US GAAP and SEC guidance.
• Collaborate with FP&A, legal, treasury, regulatory, IT and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly journal entries.
