Job summary

Digital Realty Trust, L.P. in Dallas seeks a Technical Accounting Senior Manager to lead technical accounting, policy, and external reporting efforts. You will partner with finance, tax, legal, and other leaders to evaluate complex transactions and ensure accurate disclosures.

Responsibilities include preparing memos, evaluating new standards, and supporting SEC filings, with opportunities to automate and scale processes while maintaining controls and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation required.
• 5–8+ years in accounting or external reporting, preferably with a public company or firm.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing technical analyses, memoranda, and position papers.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze complex accounting matters (revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, debt/equity, financial instruments).
• Prepare technical accounting memoranda, analyses, and position papers.
• Evaluate new accounting standards and support implementation across the org.
• Serve as a technical accounting resource for global stakeholders and ensure policy consistency.
• Support quarterly/annual financial statements and SEC filings.
• Prepare external reporting disclosures and supporting schedules (cash flow, footnotes, MD&A).
• Assist with earnings materials, management reporting, and auditor requests.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Partner with finance, legal, tax, treasury, FP&A on strategic transactions.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve technical accounting processes.
