Job summary

LHH is seeking a Senior Technical Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. This high-visibility role offers the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership on complex accounting transactions, technical accounting matters, SEC reporting, and strategic corporate initiatives.

You will research and document accounting conclusions, prepare memorandums, support acquisitions and business combinations, and help manage monthly close, internal reporting, and external filings with minimal

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting concepts.
CPA certification strongly preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience.

Responsibilities

Research, analyze, and resolve complex technical accounting matters.
Prepare technical accounting memorandums and documentation for significant transactions.
Assess the accounting impact of acquisitions, debt, equity transactions, and business combinations.
Support SEC reporting and assist with 10-Q/10-K filings.
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for monthly close.
Collaborate with leadership to communicate accounting positions and audits.
Lead special projects and contribute to strategic initiatives.
